Associate Dean of Enrollment Management (Admissions and Financial Aid)
The Associate Dean for Enrollment Management (Admissions and Financial Aid) provides leadership, strategic direction, management and oversight for all activities related to recruitment, admissions and financial aid for Columbia's Mailman School of Public Health, located at the Columbia Medical Center Campus. The Associate Dean is responsible for the development and implementation of a sophisticated strategic enrollment management plan that meets targeted enrollment goals and enrolls a high-quality, diverse student body that enhances the reputation of the School.
The experienced and data-driven Associate Dean for Enrollment Management (Admissions and Financial Aid) will be responsible for recruiting, admitting and enrolling the highest possible caliber of diverse students into the Mailman School. The Associate Dean provides leadership in the achievement of enrollment goals by working closely with faculty program directors and School leadership to establish admissions priorities, and to develop and implement systems and processes to achieve established goals. Other key responsibilities include assessing market competitive conditions; developing strategic recruiting plans; collaborating with Office of Communications to develop strategic communications plans; understanding School and Federal regulations for proper and strategic disbursements of financial aid funds; presenting Mailman School of Public Health and its academic programs to prospective students; processing and providing assessment of applications to the relevant admissions committees; providing quantitative and qualitative reporting on admissions and enrollment data; determining and overseeing the packaging and disbursement of scholarship and fellowship funds; and developing processes and systems to ensure the highest yield of qualified candidates.
Reporting to the Vice Dean of Education, the Associate Dean for Enrollment Management (Admissions and Financial Aid)is responsible for establishing a strategic operational plan for enrollment management to establish growth areas, enrollment targets, increased funding opportunities and specific strategies that are appropriate for the diverse disciplines in public health as well as the emerging and developing avenues in higher education and public health.
The candidate will provide leadership, supervision and mentor ship to a team of admissions and financial aid professionals and will have demonstrated experience in management, leadership and team building.

Requires a master's degree in higher education or related field with a minimum of 7-10 years of progressively responsible experience in college or graduate school admissions. Proven track record of achieving enrollment objectives in a higher education setting; Experience with CRM and other digital tools/systems.
