The director of admissions is responsible for the leadership of undergraduate admissions and recruitment strategies designed to attract and enroll a talented, diverse student population to NEBRASKA. The director will provide supervision and guidance to more than 60 staff and oversee a budget of $2 million dollars. The successful candidate will be collaborative, transparent, innovative, and entrepreneurial, with the vision and confidence to serve as a campus leader and a willingness to take calculated risks to engage students and families in new ways. The director will serve as an internal leader for the Office of Admissions staff and an external voice for the value of a NEBRASKA degree. Reporting to the assistant vice chancellor of academic services & enrollment management (ASEM), the director will be a key member of ASEM’s leadership team, University Enrollment Management Council, and other academic and student affairs committees on campus.
