The Associate Director is responsible for all aspects of the recruitment and admissions process including departmental operations and administration as they are appropriate for the student relations area. Represents the Associate Vice President of Academic Operations (AVP) in her absence and makes key administrative decisions regarding recruitment and student relations. Supervises and oversees activities in the identification, recruitment, and matriculation of prospective students to attend TAMUG. Directly supervises two Admissions Counselor I and one Admissions Counselor II positions.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or any equivalent combination of education and experience. Eight years of progressively responsible professional experience in a related field such as higher education, admissions, counseling, financial aid and business, including some supervisory experience.
Required Licenses, Certifications or Registrations:
Must have a current Texas driver's license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
