GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Responsible for coordinating and maintaining recruitment processes, for prospective graduate and undergraduate students on the Augsburg Rochester Campus. In concert with site director, sustain, develop and expand relationships with strategically important organizations in the Rochester area that enhance enrollment.
Identify, recruit, and enroll prospective students in the Rochester-area market.
Develop recruitment strategies.
Plan and arrange all events for prospective students and coordinating with faculty and staff, working collaboratively with administrative and faculty leadership in Rochester and Minneapolis.
Conduct office-based contact with students to achieve or exceed pre-determined quantitative goals and actively monitor and manage admissions funnels.
Work closely with personnel at key external organizations to sustain and establish enrollment pipelines and create lasting partnerships.
Coordinate the involvement of faculty, staff, and others at these partnership institutions/organizations to enhance and deepen their relationships with Augsburg.
Recruitment Events Off-Campus
Represent Augsburg College at education fairs, high schools, community colleges, and other off campus events to generate interest and inquiries for both the Rochester and Minneapolis campuses.

Prepare application files for faculty review.
Make admission decisions, when appropriate, or refer file to admissions committees.
All other duties as apparent or assigned by supervisor(s).
Minimum of four (4) years of relevant work experience.
Account management or partnership development experience preferred.
Membership in organization of college admissions counselors preferred.
Excellent use of word processing, spreadsheets, and email.
Knowledge of admissions or recruitment software/CRM preferred.
Strong communication skills, including ability to actively listen; professional written communication skills; public speaking skills.
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a diverse work environment.
Ability to be attentive to details, be accurate, be precise.
Ability to lead/teach; work in a team environment; and work independently with little supervision.
Ability to reason/analyze; maintain confidentiality; and demonstrate patience, understanding.
Ability to show initiative; organize workflow; manage projects; and handle frequent interruptions.
Ability to travel in the Rochester area and regularly to Minneapolis.
