The Darden School of Business, one of the top business schools in the world, seeks an experienced and highly motivated Admissions professional to joint its team.
The primary responsibilities of the Associate Director include evaluating candidates' credentials, interviewing prospective students, and serving as a member of the Admissions Committee. This position will design and lead the diversity recruiting strategy for Darden Admissions. The Associate Director will also represent Darden at various diversity partner events, alumni receptions, MBA forums/fairs, and other events. This position will also help manage other Admissions activities and yield events, as well as work extensively with other Darden departments.
Position requires evening and weekend work, as well as domestic and international travel.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop strategy for diversity recruiting.
Represent Darden at various alumni and prospective student events, MBA forums/fairs, and other events, including yield events.
Reading and evaluating applications for admission into the Darden School of Business focusing on applications from the Consortium (cgsm.org).
Deepen relationships with our diversity partners and student affinity groups and lead our recruiting efforts with the partners.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Position requires excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, as well as the ability to initiate programmatic and individual activities while functioning in a team setting. A service-oriented approach, familiarity with information systems, and an awareness of the needs and concerns of a selective MBA program are required.
