This position assists the Blended Learning and Admissions teams with the development and execution of recruitment, enrollment, and communication strategies for the school’s Hybrid and Executive JD programs. The Admissions Counselor will: assume a high degree of responsibility developing and cultivating relationships with prospective students on admissions, legal education and the school’s academic programs and resources; review applications and make admission recommendations; and may represent the school at law school forums and graduate/professional school fairs.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree; 3-5 years experience working in higher education recruitment or enrollment; high degree of professionalism and ability to work with confidential and sensitive matters; strong interpersonal and communication skills; strong organizational skills; ability to work in a fast-paced both independently and as a member of a team; ability to connect with a wide variety of people; effective listening and counseling skills; responsive, with a strong commitment to providing excellent student service; and familiarity with website management and social media. Ability to travel and willingness to work a flexible work schedule including weekends and evenings as business needs dictate.
