The Assistant Director of Diversity Recruitment will help plan and implement outreach and recruiting strategies; counsel prospective students; represent the law school at on and off-campus events with regard to both admissions and diversity matters; plan and execute events; serve as the primary office contact for prospective and admitted students, as well as LSAC; assist in the management of data and reporting.

Plan and implement strategies to promote an inclusive environment for underrepresented minorities and other diverse student groups in the recruiting/admissions/yield process.
Assist in the coordination and execution of admissions events; manage/oversee the office's comprehensive yield framework.
Assist with the management of data and reporting in ACES-2; serve as primary liaison for data management with LSAC; perform continuous processing and upkeep of prospective student and applicant data in ACES-2.
Position requires some evening and weekend work, as well as frequent travel.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree is required.
A minimum of two years of professional work experience is required, preferably in admissions.
Experience in higher education is preferred. Diversity/inclusion experience is strongly preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Candidate must demonstrate strong verbal and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to forge strong working relationships with a wide range of constituencies. Must also demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively in writing. Strong presentation skills are essential.
Candidate must have strong time management, organizational and planning skills with the ability to prioritize, and manage multiple projects in a deadline driven environment. Strong project management skills and attention to detail are essential.
Candidate must demonstrate strong problem solving skills. Must also be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Candidate must have a strong commitment to confidentiality, as this position will be required to handle confidential and sensitive information. Experience and demonstrated ability to work with a diverse group of individuals are essential.
Candidate must have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with ACES-2 and Peoplesoft is strongly preferred.
