Associate Director of Operations - Undergraduate Admissions
The incumbent serves as a senior management member of the admissions staff. There are eight direct and indirect reports to this position who are responsible for application/document processing and systems management as well as working with special and targeted populations of students.
The position manages the processing of over 15,000 undergraduate applications plus supporting documents annually including data upload, verification, document scanning, letter generation, and document archiving. The Associate Director also assists in establishing application criteria as well as application review and evaluation procedures. Critical to these functions are the statistical reports and on-going analysis of data as it relates to applicants.
This position works directly with the Office of Information Technology and third party vendors to maintain all software applications and systems including the Common App, PeopleSoft SA, and ImageNow document imagining systems.
The Associate Director serves as the Undergraduate Admissions liaison with the Office of Information Technology, the Registrar’s Office, Residential Life, Summer and Winter Programs, Student Judicial Programs, and is on a number of Enrollment Management committees. In addition, the Associate Director, visit high schools, conducts presentations and information sessions, attends college fairs, reviews freshman and transfer applications rendering appropriate admission decisions; applies university policies and performs other duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) and three years of progressive experience in admissions or related area. Must have strong supervisory, statistical and analytical skills.
Experience working with application and recruitment databases, and document imaging systems desired. PeopleSoft and ImageNow experience preferred
