Implement and direct the territory management model to achieve enrollment objectives. Supervise a team of admissions counselors and oversee the counselors day to day activities in their territories. Provide strategic direction, analyze data to monitor goals, and support initiatives and recruitment events.
Essential Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities
Implement territory management strategy and model to meet enrollment objectives. Supervise 7 full time staff members and oversee their efforts in each territory. Provide strategic direction for goal setting. Analyze data to monitor goals and objectives.
Direct recruitment efforts for the entire team with regard to college fair and night programs throughout the country.
Coordinate scholar initiatives such as orange ribbon programs and scholarship awards for top scholars in collaboration with the Honors College.
Manage a small territory to meet enrollment objectives, conduct highly personalized outreach efforts in territory.
Meet with prospective students and families to answer questions and assist in admission and recruitment process. Give presentations to visitors, assist with recruitment events on and off campus.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Supervisory and management experience
Excellent communication, including writing and public speaking skills
Bachelor's degree required. Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and comply with the university’s vehicle use policy. The following experience is required:
Three to four years in enrollment management/student recruitment using a territory management recruitment model. Preference given to one year supervisory experience either directly or indirectly by working with a student group, program or professional association.
Full-time administrative staff position. Salary is commensurate with education and experience. Administrative pay grade 355. Full benefits package available.
