Responsible for recruiting and enrolling a high-quality, diverse student body to the UH Law Center.
Reviews application files, and makes admissions decisions and scholarship recommendations.
Prepares recruitment schedule, and plans recruiting and yield events.
Participates in recruiting events, including off-campus events.
Oversees daily activities of the admissions office regarding customer service and the application process; supervises office support staff and student workers.
Recruits, trains and supervises student ambassadors.
Provides counseling to prospective students and denied applicants, and provides tours when needed.
Updates admissions webpage and printed publications.
Corresponds with prospective, admitted and denied students.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Doctoral and 1 year experience
Requires singular knowledge of a specialized advanced professional discipline or the highest level of general business knowledge, normally acquired through attainment of a directly job-related terminal degree or equivalent formal training in a recognized field of specialization that is directly related to the type of work being performed. Requires a minimum of one (1) year of directly job-related experience.
