The CTY Educational Advisor plays a critical role in carrying out the mission of the CTY Scholars Program. The Advisor fosters strong and effective relationships between CTY and the Scholar and their families, is an advisor, mentor and a coach to the Scholar, and plays a proactive role in shaping the Scholar's academic future. CTY Advisors play a key role throughout a Scholar's early academic career including adjustment to high school, high school course selection, college search, and the financial aid and college admissions processes. Advisors also play a critical role in shaping and developing the larger CTY Scholars team.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree; Master's degree strongly preferred. Three years of experience in counseling, education, and other relevant academic administrative functions. Experience working with low-income, and high-achieving students and families is preferred.
