Dulwich International High School Suzhou (DHSZ) seeks an outstanding and inspirational full-time university counsellor to join the Counseling Department from August 2018 to guide students in Years 10-13 (grades 9-12). As our incoming class is larger than anticipated, we are looking to expand our team and allow us to keep the counsellor to student ratio low. This is an excellent opportunity to make a difference in our fast-growing school in Suzhou, one of China’s most vibrant cities. DHSZ is a selective, English-medium, co-educational four-year high school. Our students are highly motivated and learning focused which makes it a delight to interact and teach them. The majority of our 670students are PRC nationals who will pursue their university studies at excellent universities and colleges outside China. To this end, our students opt out of the Chinese education system at the end of junior middle school to follow a curriculum leading to IGCSEs and A Levels. More information can be found here.

Through the Dulwich Success Plan, students receive personalised planning starting in Year 7, which in turn serves as the foundation for future planning and helps students and families reach their post-secondary educational goals. We strive to provide our students with the skills and tools to thrive academically and socially at their chosen university and beyond. They are able to graduate as well-prepared global citizens and strong candidates suited for the best universities in the world.
