The University of Cincinnati seeks an Assistant Vice Provost of Admissions. This position leads the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and is an integral part of the University's multi-faceted Enrollment Management team. Responsible for the strategic development and execution of the marketing (in partnership with University Communications), recruitment, admissions and yield strategies for incoming students, the Assistant. Vice Provost reports to the Vice Provost of Enrollment Management. The Assistant Vice Provost must demonstrate innovation in practice, knowledge of cutting edge technologies in the enrollment arena and data reporting as well as lead the Office via data-driven decisions. S/he in partnership with key staff in the Office of Admissions and academic colleges and other units will develop and implement innovative programming that will achieve Cincinnati's enrollment goals.
A demonstration of knowledge and application of best practices in enrollment management including but not limited to marketing, data analytics, recruitment and yield strategies.
Proven track record of building strong relationships with feeder high schools, community colleges and counselors while conducting national and international recruitment plans; high visibility with local, regional and national professional organizations.
Previous supervision of a large team with an emphasis on the professional development of staff members.
Extensive knowledge of databases and reporting software such as Peoplesoft, CRM's, Tableau, etc.
Demonstration of creativity and innovation in strategic planning and problem-solving and an understanding of integrated marketing and its impact on enrollment.
A high level of collaboration and teamwork with effective communication and presentation skills. Proven ability to collaborate with a wide cross-section of senior administrators, faculty, alumni, staff and students.
Ability to respond to common inquiries and complaints from families, customers, regulatory agencies and external communities.
Demonstrated effective management of departmental resources (budget, personnel, space, etc.).
Demonstration of utilizing data analytics to inform decisions and articulation of return on investment.
Experience in overseeing and/or designing, developing and implementing life cycle communication plans.
