Reporting to the Director of Admissions, the Admissions Counselor (AC) is a key member of the admissions team and provides administrative support for all aspects of the application, recruitment, and enrollment process. The AC is the primary contact for general admissions inquiries from prospective students. Areas of responsibility include daily communication with prospective students and families, application processing and review, enrollment of admitted students, daily logistics and paperwork for on-campus auditions, administrative support for other programs (non-resident DMA applicants, dossier service), and assist with other duties and projects as assigned by the Director of Admissions.

Preferred Education, Experience and Skills: Bachelor's degree in music strongly preferred. Experience in an admissions office. Experience with Banner, Technolutions/Slate. Experience with CRM software for outreach and communication. Prior experience coordinating events. Prior experience manipulating data and running reports in a database.
Required Licenses Or Certifications:
Six years of related work experience, four of them in the same job family at the next lower level, and high school level education; or four years of related work experience and an Associate's degree; or little or no work experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related field; or an equivalent combination of experience and education.
