Job Title: Counselor, Day Admissions and Financial Aid

The Day Admissions & Financial Aid Counselor is responsible for the implementation of planned relationship marketing and recruitment activities, coordination of recruitment and admission processes to ensure enrollment targets, and that KRA (Key Result Area) plans are met.
Required Qualifications – Required qualifications to effectively perform the job. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will be considered. (Additional requirements may be designated by position.)
A bachelor’s degree is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
Must have comprehensive knowledge of bachelor degree programs and knowledge of marketing and public relations principles.
Must have 3-5 years of experience in sales or customer service; extensive experience in post-secondary education and recruitment is preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities – May be representative, but not all-inclusive, of those knowledge, skills and abilities commonly associated with this position.
Must be customer-service oriented with strong relationship-building skills.
Must have strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills to interact with candidates and their families.
Must have excellent attention to detail.
Must be organized and able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
Must have strong professional integrity and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Position requires the ability to use good judgment, think critically, and communicate effectively.
Knowledge of general office software, particularly the Microsoft Office Suite, CRM and internet.
