Reporting to the Enrollment Registrar Manager, the Enrollment Registrar Specialist's responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Coordinate all registration activities including registration of student requesting permits to take classes at other institutions, study abroad, approved late registrations. Implement strategies for an effective registration process.
Implement and monitor communications systems that link records and registration to other offices within the department and across the college.
Recommend marketing/communications plans to provide direction for the office’s public-facing communications.
Maintain all public facing communication vehicles. Keep webpage current and accurate.
Assist with the creation, coordination, and dissemination of office outreach and communication.
Develop and maintain the Office of the Registrar presence on social media.
Supervise, train, and evaluate phone staff.
Use analytical tools to provide reports on metrics on effectiveness of tools use and continually find ways to improve on those metrics through testing and new initiatives.
Bachelor's Degree and four years' related experience required.
Experience with the Student Records module of PeopleSoft Campus Solutions (at least two years
Experience with student communication tools or a CRM preferred, but not required.
Ability to use technology creatively to solve problems, including an ability to use MS Excel to quickly answer broad questions about sets of data.
Strong commitment to customer service, organization, attention to detail, and communication in support of a collaborative team environment.
Willingness to learn new skills and share new and existing knowledge with teammates.

Administers College registration operations under management direction.
Coordinates registration services such as grade collection entries and changes, publication of semester course offerings, final examination schedules, classroom scheduling and requests for student information
Promotes policies and procedures in compliance with local, state and federal rules and regulations? advises College personnel regarding the development and implementation of responses to regulatory changes
Oversees the conformity of record release procedures to management policies and legal requirements, including the Family Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and other applicable laws and regulations governing the confidentiality of student records
Creates and reviews student communications from the Registrar's Office? ensures transcript and
Degree verification requests are handled in a timely manner
Recommends and implements improvements to office operations? assists with strategic planning
Prepares reports and analyses on registration activities
May train faculty and staff on retention techniques, record-keeping protocol and/or registration systems
May supervise office operations and/or department budget
Performs related duties as assigned.
