To recruit prospective undergraduate students to the university and counsel them on the admission process.
Recruit freshman and/or transfer students. Responsible for the development and implementation of a written and electronic communication plan for school(s)/territory. Participate in off-campus and on-campus events including, but not limited to preview days, college fairs, classroom presentations and University booths. Develop goals and objectives for school(s)/territory. Monitor weekly, monthly and yearly progress towards goals, including monthly and yearly reports about territory. Counsel prospective students and families at various stages of the college search cycle about the admissions process, transfer credit and undergraduate educational opportunities at the University.
Bachelor’s degree. Two (2) years of experience counseling students in academic and scholastic matters, with a broad knowledge of institutional admission requirements.
Two (2) years of experience in admissions, recruitment, residence life, or advising. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to speak in front of large groups. Computer skills, including, but not limited to Microsoft Office. Ability to speak Spanish.
