Emmanuel College is seeking candidates for an exciting opportunity in the Office of Admissions. Reporting to the Dean of Enrollment, the Senior Associate Dean of Admissions will oversee the planning, implementation, and development of both short and long-term strategies and programming for recruitment, admission, and enrollment to maximize the College's ability to recruit and retain highly talented, highly qualified students.
This position will serve in a leadership role and manage the admissions counseling team, oversee recruitment travel, and coordinate the admission review process. The Senior Associate Dean will work with other College departments to strategically develop effective market cultivation and prospect engagement, recruitment programming, and also represent Emmanuel at various events and recruitment opportunities both on and off campus.
We are searching for a candidate who understands today's enrollment issues faced by private, liberal arts colleges and can work closely with other senior staff to measure and assess key data to formulate and achieve strategic enrollment goals. The Senior Associate Dean will bring the experience necessary to cultivate and manage relationships with prospective students, their parents and families, and high school counselors.
Our ideal candidates will demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the College's mission and the value of Catholic higher education. Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred. A minimum of 5-7 years progressively responsible college admission experience required with a proven track record in leading/managing direct reports. Strong ability to speak publically, and write clearly and persuasively and maintain excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills are required. Must be available and willing to work a varied schedule, including evening/weekend work and a minimum of 4-6 weeks of seasonal travel per year. Must have a valid driver's license (with proof of insurability).
