Assistant or Associate Director of Admission, Recruitment Operations to be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating new student recruitment. Provide oversight and leadership for distinct recruitment initiatives; formulate recruitment strategies, plans, and goals for regional recruitment territories; manage regional recruitment activity and events; manage recruitment processes and reporting within CRM. Responsibilities include: Manage, assign, train and supervise counselor recruitment outreach activity; formulate recruitment strategies, plans, and counselor goals for assigned recruitment territory based on data, trends, and research; train counseling staff, support Director in supervision and coaching support; manage recruitment operations including events management, events budget oversight, and CRM recruitment operations including events, recruitment activity assignment, and reporting; manage assigned recruitment projects; develop and manage counselor communication tactics with prospective students, families, community members through organized recruitment communication follow-up, social media, telecounseling, presentations, and in leveraging enrollment marketing; develop and manage processes and systems to increase prospective student leads and conversion rates; manage own assigned recruitment territory by arranging recruitment activities and visits; prepare and perform Miami University Regionals presentations to prospective students; obtain prospective student leads; organization, coordination, management of on- and off-campus recruitment events; supervise and manage student employees; oversight of recruitment operations budget; assist Director in strategic recruitment planning and implementation, in application review and decisions, and in cultivation of internal and external partners in recruitment.
Require: Bachelor's degree; experience with recruitment activities or sales; excellent communication skills, including public speaking and writing ability; high level of organizational and self-starting skills; ability to work with minimal supervision; demonstrated commitment to recruiting individuals from diverse backgrounds; knowledge of and experience with computer systems and various software applications, especially Microsoft Office and Google suite; ability to lift 30-40 lbs of recruiting materials; valid driver's license and automobile for travel; ability to perform overnight travel. This position is not eligible for H-1B sponsorship. Associate Director qualifications include a minimum four years of professional experience in admission or related area, or a Master’s degree plus a minimum of two to three years of experience; Assistant Director qualifications include a minimum two years of professional experience in admission or related area. Desire: Experience with customer relationship management systems, preferably Technolutions Slate; personnel and/or operations management; experience in project management, event planning, and systems oversight; diverse recruitment experience; demonstrated success in goal achievement, data-driven decision-making, and project results.
