This position coordinates University wide programs for prospective students including open house (Aggie Experience) events, all orientation functions for prospective students and their families, including summer, fall orientation, and other new student programs. This position also assists with on-campus programs for undergraduate admissions, requires significant weekend and late night hours, and coordinates with members across campus to create an enjoyable and informative on-campus experience for prospective students and their families. Hiring, supervision, training, task assignment, and evaluation of assigned staff and student employees. Manage, collect data and develop reports on Aggie Welcome and Orientation (AWO) and Aggie Experience programs. Collaborate on development, implementation and assessment of all outreach campaigns and text messages related to new student orientation and Aggie Experience. Utilization of recruitment Customer Relationship Management system for outreach and monitoring of individual staff and student employee and overall performance metrics. Develop and manage communication flow / calendar for annual yield campaigns. Collaborate on Undergraduate Admissions website to ensure current and accurate information. Alignment of outreach and programming efforts with general marketing and advertising efforts through close collaboration with Admissions colleagues and other campus partners. Maintain close collaboration with academic and student service campus partners to ensure greatest impact on prospective students attending Aggie Experience and new incoming students and their ability to succeed at NMSU. Planning and implementation of programmatic activities and events for all participating Aggie Experience and Aggie Welcome and Orientation (AWO) students. Supervise the Graduate Assistant(s), and provide internship supervision as needed. Coordinate and represent the university at large open house events such as Aggie Experience. Collaborate with multiple administrative and academic offices across campus to coordinate a systematic recruitment effort for Aggie Welcome and Orientation and Aggie Experience events.
