Transylvania University seeks a dynamic and energetic individual who will serve on the senior leadership team that leads the development and implementation of the initiatives that facilitate improved processes and integration with admissions and enrollment systems.
Oversee record reviews and updates through data imports and exports; assessing and updating all queries and rules; and updating all instances as necessary.
Create import and export source formatting for Slate CRM to import data from College Board, ACT, Common Application, TOEFL, Naviance and various other admission vendors.
Manage Transylvania’s internal Slate application and the yearly creating of the membership profile screen on the Common Application. Serve as liaison for Common Application.
Create and run daily/weekly data check comparisons between both student information systems (Slate and Colleague) to ensure data integrity across both.
Train Admissions and Athletic staff across programs to use Slate effectively, helping staff to identify and implement best practices, new features, troubleshoot minor issues across the programs, and work with Information Technology to resolve major issues.
Collaborate with Information Technology and oversee integrations with other application systems such as Ellucian (Colleague), Powerfaids, and SoftDocs.
Update and run queries to export applicant data between Slate and current campus SIS, ensuring integrity of all records, including merging duplicate records.
Help admissions colleagues to manage and innovate specialized communication campaigns, in partnership with Director of Enrollment Communications. This may include helping to build complex email campaigns, creating email templates and queries, developing and managing portals, coordinating contractors, and updating and maintaining websites.
Other duties as assigned by Director of Admissions and Vice President of Enrollment & Student Life.
The position requires a bachelor’s degree and related experience in Technolutions Slate. Preference will be given to candidates with a master's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and three or more years of relevant experience in higher education enrollment and Technolutions Slate. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal, organizational, and written/oral communication skills as well as a demonstrated commitment to professional development
