This position is responsible for the technical configuration, maintenance, and coordination of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) in the admissions office (Technolutions Slate). It also serves as liaison with campus service departments needing access to incoming student records.
The primary responsibility of this position is to optimize the Admissions Offices' instance of Technolutions Slate CRM;
Maintain currency with Slate features and updates;
Review and identify technology solutions and best practices to compliment and/or expand existing protocols;
Build and maintain custom portals for use by admissions staff, other internal college staff, prospective students and applicants;
Fully document the Slate configuration and related integration;
Serve as the technical and functional lead within the Admissions Office for Technolutions Slate CRM, Colleague, Common App and EAB Data Integration Services;
Work closely with information technology on integration when necessary;
Manage all data migration processes between Slate and Colleague;
Create import and export source formatting for Slate CRM, which includes bringing in data from College Board, ACT, Common App, TOEFL, Naviance, Parchment and various additional admissions vendors. Assist with management of campus event portal;
Create and run daily/weekly data check comparisons between both student information systems (Slate and Colleague) to ensure data integrity across both systems. Collaborate, when necessary, with Information Technology department to create queries to extract data from Colleague and upload it into Slate;
Ensure data accuracy within Slate through regular quality control checking;
Analyze data and metrics and identify meaningful insights and trends
Implement ongoing training related to best practices with Technolutions Slate for Admissions and other key College departments;
Oversee the inquiry pool coding and, tracking ;and communication flow;
Develop standard and custom reports;
Assist with increasing prospective student engagement and recruitment efficiency through data analysis and the development of CRM strategies;
Attend the annual Slate Summit Conference;

A bachelor's degree;
Experience managing the technical configuration of Technolutions Slate;
Three years of progressively responsible experience in College or University Admissions;
Three years of experience with HTML, Java and Relational Databases;
Demonstrated ability to analyze a situation and recommend/implement effective & efficient solutions;
Excellent customer service, organizational, and communication skills;
Highly organized and detail oriented;
Work competently and efficiently while prioritizing work in a fast-paced environment with multiple and often conflicting interests; adhere to deadlines;
Flexible, adaptable, and able to work in a changing environment;
Exhibit initiative and self-motivation, ability to analyze and identify issues and recommend solutions proactively;
Valid Driver's License;
Ability to work/travel evenings and weekends as needed;
