ASSOCIATE VICE PRESIDENT FOR ENROLLMENT MANAGEMENT
California State University, Bakersfield (CSUB) invites applications for the position of Associate Vice President of Enrollment Management (AVP-EM). The person selected for this position will serve as the Enrollment Management’s chief administrative officer and will report directly to the Provost/Vice President for Academic Affairs. The AVP-EM will serve on the Provost Council senior leadership team and will provide leadership in ensuring that the University’s mission is advanced through strategic efforts to attract, enroll, retain, and graduate students.
CSUB is a public, comprehensive university of approximately 8887 full-time equivalent students. A member of the California State University system (CSU), CSUB has a student body that reflects the diversity of the southern San Joaquin Valley, with approximately 60% of the student body being of Hispanic origin. With four academic schools, an extended education unit, and a branch campus in the Antelope Valley (Lancaster), CSUB enrolls more than 10,500 students and employs more than 1200 faculty and staff.
The AVP-EM provides leadership, vision, management, and assessment of multiple, complex, and interdependent enrollment programs and services in the unit. There are 16 key departments within Enrollment Management: Admissions; Registrar; College Assistance Migrant Program; CSUB/BC Transfer Center; CSUB Roadrunner Parent Association; Early Intervention Programs; Educational Opportunity Program; Educational Talent Search; Enrollment Technology Management; High School Equivalency Program (HEP); International Student Programs; Project Rebound; Testing Center; University Outreach and New Student Orientation; and Veterans Success Center.
