New College is accepting applications for a Director of New Student Recruitment for its Enrollment Management Team. The Director serves on the Dean's leadership team and assists the Dean with full integration of admissions policies, procedures, and programs. The Director is responsible for all aspects of undergraduate student recruitment and leads the New Student Recruitment team. This position supervises two associate directors and one assistant director who in collaboration with the Campus Visit Coordinator and the Marketing Coordinator, manages the Welcome Center, the Campus Visitation Program, social media and website postings, development of marketing materials and on-campus events, and helps them develop successful telecounseling campaigns. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: interpreting the mission and programs of the College to students and their families, as well as counselors and advisors; creating and executing strategic individualized, customized, and personalized communication with students, parents, counselors and advisors that highlight the College's distinctiveness; cultivating and sustaining relationships with all constituencies; planning and hosting on- and off-campus receptions and other events for students, their families, and counselors/advisors; and executing special diversity and access initiatives that target out-of-state students and under-represented and first-generation students.
