The Admissions Counselor is responsible for substantial recruitment of prospective freshman and transfer students through school visits, college fairs, and information sessions. Specific duties include: conducting information sessions; reviewing freshman and transfer applications; rendering appropriate admissions decisions; maintaining ongoing communication with prospective and admitted students and their families; assisting in programmatic efforts; applying university policies; and performing other duties as assigned.
Note: This position requires frequent local and out-of-state travel during the Fall and Spring. Some evening and weekend work required.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Requires a Bachelor's degree. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and possess a valid driver's license.
