SENIOR ADMISSIONS ADVISOR / MANAGER OF CBO PARTNERSHIPS
Looking to work more directly with students? Seeking a position that enables a better work-life balance, working primarily (or exclusively) from home? Want to combine private client work with CBO and pro bono work? This may be the right position for you…
About Us Expert Admissions is a leading admissions advisory firm based in Manhattan that provides comprehensive college and graduate school advising services to students from diverse backgrounds. Over the last 15 years, we’ve been dedicated to helping make the admissions process more transparent and less stressful.
We believe deeply that all students, regardless of resources or circumstance, deserve help planning their educational future. In keeping with this, we have a full-scale partnership with Rosie’s Theater Kids, a community-based organization where we provide college counseling and academic advising for low-income students in grades 8-12.
Our approach is ethical and practical. We don't believe in "packaging" students, but we do believe in advance preparation and planning. We also believe that choosing a school and gaining admission has a lot to do with both academic and social "fit." We provide a truly student-centered process (no parents in meetings!) and work with students to identify their interests and goals, providing personalized guidance along the way.
While we take our work seriously, we also like to have fun (think quarterly outings like ping pong tournaments, yoga classes, and bowling). We also have fierce debates about important things like New York’s Best Pizza.
