Reporting to the Director of Admissions, the Associate Director, Campus Visit Programs is responsible for managing all aspects of our on-campus special events and daily visit program, including planning, execution and assessment of on-campus visit programming (40,000+ visitors annually). This position also provides daily management of the Welcome Center for visitors as well as supervision for one Assistant Director, two front desk receptionists and 40+ student tour guides. The qualified candidate will be responsible for the development of strategic visit programming and outreach for prospective students, their families and other key constituents designed to support university enrollment goals. The Associate Director also assists with events-related budget planning, prepares written reports, interprets and analyzes market research and enrollment data, and supports the activities of the Director. Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree and at least five years or more of related events or visitor programming experience as well as supervisory experience – preferably in an undergraduate admissions or university setting. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Required Skills & Abilities:
Strong strategic organizational and analytical skills.
Demonstrated strengths in public speaking and written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to relate to a diverse group of management and staff.
Strong supervisory skills and ability to provide feedback and manage performance.
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work evenings and/or weekends.
Experience with Banner or other ERP systems.
Experience with CRM Recruit.
This position requires a background check.
