Hamilton College, a highly selective liberal arts college located in the scenic village of Clinton, NY, is seeking a results-oriented admission professional who wants to be part of a highly effective team. This is a full-time position available to start as soon as July 1.
The Senior Assistant/Associate Dean of Admission for International Recruitmentwill report to the Dean of Admission and oversee and manage the development and implementation of an international student recruitment strategy to assist the College in achieving its enrollment goals. Attractive candidates will have demonstrated experienced with selective college admission and international recruitment, as well as relationships with international schools, counselors, and organizations, and would be able to envision and implement a plan to maximize the College’s presence in the international market. The successful candidate will work closely and collaboratively with colleagues in the enrollment division, and may have other responsibilities within the admission office based on expertise, interest, and office needs. Finally, the person in this position will serve as a liaison and partner with members of the Dean of Students division in planning for the transition and on-campus support of international students.
Candidates should possess excellent oral and written communication skills, and strong organizational and analytical abilities; be strongly service-oriented; have a current driver’s license and be willing to travel three to six weeks per year and work some weekends. Admission experience with international travel is preferred, and a fluency in a language other than English is a benefit. Salary and title will be commensurate with experience.
