Hampden-Sydney College seeks a creative, strategic, and forward-thinking vice president for enrollment to advance its compelling, 244-year-old mission, “to form good men and good citizens.” Founded in 1775 with Patrick Henry and James Madison among its charter trustees, Hampden-Sydney is the tenth oldest institution of higher learning in the United States. Reporting to the president, the vice president for enrollment will lead a dynamic regional, national, and international recruitment effort to attract, select, and enroll talented and diverse students, building upon the College's rich history while leading it into an ambitious future.

The vice president for enrollment will be an experienced leader of people and programs with a demonstrable record of success using sophisticated marketing, technology, and financial aid packaging techniques to achieve enrollment goals. Superior communication and relationship-building skills are essential, as are dedication to a liberal arts education and the ability to inspire support from the College’s constituents, including members of the campus community, alumni, parents, and students.
