New College of Florida’s Department of Enrollment Management is accepting applications for a Recruiter. The Recruiter develops and sustains a comprehensive knowledge of and ability to articulate the value of a liberal arts and sciences education; the distinctive features of NCF's academic program and areas of concentration; the off-campus study, internship and extra- and co-curricular opportunities available to students; and the accomplishments of NCF graduates; serves as Territory Manager for an assigned geographic area and directs all recruitment activities in the area; evaluates return on investment (ROI) of all activities in the assigned area. This position conducts on-campus individual and group information sessions for students and their families and for secondary school counselors; leads tours of campus; assists in the Welcome Center, attends special on-campus recruitment events and participates in the recruitment telephone hunt group; and records information and transactions in Slate, the Customer Relationship Management system, accurately and in a timely manner.
The Recruiter acts as a liaison between New College and students in the territory and focuses on customized and personalized communication with high priority inquirers, paying special attention to diversity and access inquirers (students from underrepresented populations and low SES households). The Recruiter develops an annual plan for the territory that contributes to the successful achievement of goals and enrollment targets in the overall multi-year recruitment plan. At the end of each cycle, the Coordinator provides documentation to the Director on the return on investment (ROI) of all activities within the territory and then adjusts the subsequent year's plan accordingly. The Recruiter has extensive ongoing contact internal to the College with faculty, staff and students, and with prospective students, parents, secondary school counselors and teachers; other Admissions professionals; representatives from organizations that serve students, especially those who may assist with diversity and access activities; and with the general public.
