This position is responsible for (1) Coordinating all on-campus admissions events (2) Serving as the admissions liaison between faculty, deans, and campus personnel for events (3) Providing strategy and evaluating effectiveness of events (4) General admissions counselor responsibilities including limited recruitment travel, application review, campus visit support, and application decision making. Position requires weekend work.
Bachelor’s degree required with previous experience working with the public.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Plans and implements all admissions on-campus events, including but not limited to prospective student events (Explore Elon fall and spring open houses); admitted students events (Rising Phoenix Weekends); scholarship day (Fellows); diversity-themed events (Game Day and Phoenix Fusion); Physical Plant Appreciation breakfast; and counselor visitation programs.
In conjunction with the territory manager for North Carolina, plans and implements the Alamance County CACRAO College Fair
Assists in the planning of select off-campus recruitment programming (Evening with Elon)
Communicates effectively with all campus constituents, including members of senior staff; deans; and faculty to ensure all parties understand their roles and responsibilities related to support of the events
Collaborates with IT, moving and set-up, and catering to ensure proper event support
Drafts event calendar for each year
Provides staffing plan for all events
Updates post-event surveys and ensures timely delivery to constituents
Drafts summary reports after each event from survey data
Manages social media strategy for on- and off-campus events
Alerts campus community (via fac/staff email) to admissions events
Reviews parking and traffic plans related to events
Works closely with Director of Campus Visit to coordinate University Guide support for events
