The Admission Counselor is responsible for the management of a specific recruitment territory including travel to college fairs, high school visits, and consistent communication with prospective students, campus visits, move students through the enrollment funnel and reach set goals.
Communication with students is through email, phone, text message and in person.
Admission Counselors will coordinate and participate in Office of Admission programs including open houses, campus visits, registration and orientation.
Reporting and completion of documents using CRM database, territory reports, business services forms, etc.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work with little supervision, most possess strong time management and organizational skills.
Ability to present information to small and large groups.
Experience working with diverse and underserved populations.
Ability to problem solve and make decisions that impact goal achievement.
Experience planning, organization and executing events.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and non-traditional hours.
