The Admissions Counselor will serve as a key point of contact for leads and applicants for the EMBA Americas program.
In this role, the Admissions Counselor will:
Advise leads and applicants on the admissions process and answer questions about the EMBA Americas program and related topics.
Conduct preliminary assessments of candidate resumes.
Review final application files, providing input to the Admissions Committee.
Track application components and statuses, and update admissions statistics.
Schedule interviews and class visits.
Update and send communications to the applicants and leads, using the Pardot system within Salesforce.
Become a skilled user of Salesforce and collaborate, as needed, with the database and technology teams to address any issues or necessary updates.
Oversee the matriculation process for the program, ensuring that new students are uploaded into the Cornell University systems and that all forms are completed for enrollment. This includes acting as a liaison with the Smith School of Business at Queen's University to ensure that all students are properly enrolled in both Cornell and Queen's Universities.
Assist with event planning, with an emphasis on inviting prospective students and managing the event registration process.
This position is part-time, 35 hours a week and is benefits eligible. The duration of this temporary appointment will be from December 1, 2019 until May 31, 2020.
