Reporting to the Associate Director of Enrollment Management, the Enrollment Manager is responsible for meeting enrollment goals by developing, planning, executing, and managing student recruitment activities for assigned academic programs, including inquiry/applicant follow-up, recruitment events, and engagement with external and community organizations. The position is also responsible for meeting student retention and enrollment benchmarks in assigned programs by pro-actively providing superior, student-centered academic coaching and advising on issues directly and indirectly related to students academic planning, progress, and performance. As the primary enrollment manager for their program(s), the position manages a recruitment budget, including determining spending channels/allocation, and is responsible for making effective independent decision making that advances enrollment performance.
Student Recruitment Management
Provide leadership in student recruitment for assigned programs by developing an annual recruitment plan and meeting or exceeding term and annual recruitment goals.
Pro-actively and assertively contact inquiries through a variety of communication channels, and cultivate/enhance enrollment interest through the point of application and after acceptance.
Meet with prospective students.
Determine and understand prospective student needs, educational and career interests/goals, other germane information, and offer compelling connections between those goals and enrollment in UCOL programs.
Effectively use customer relationship management software to support and enhance recruitment outreach, including documenting student contacts, setting future appointments/contacts, communicating with inquiry groups, etc.
Develop reports and monitor data to track recruitment performance and enhance recruitment strategies (e.g. yield management, forecasting, etc.) in assigned programs.
Develop, execute, and assess monthly recruitment webinars for prospective students.
Collaborate with appropriate academic director to develop, execute, and assess an annual recruitment-event plan that maximizes prospective student interest and inquiries for assigned programs, including national/industry trade shows, corporate HR fairs, job and education fairs, professional/industry meetings and events, etc.
Effectively and professionally represent DU/UCOL at events and, as needed, transport, set-up, and dismantle recruitment booth solutions.
Create and maintain relationships and partnerships in the professional communities of assigned programs to build awareness of DU/University College and drive student recruitment.
Manages annual recruitment budget for assigned programs, and ensures expenses do not exceed budget.
Develop, execute, and assess monthly recruitment webinars for prospective students.
Knowledgeable about academic content within assigned academic program(s), is aware of industry events/trends/employment within assigned programs, and knowledge of regulatory and professional processes and policies governing DU-specific, federal financial aid, veterans affairs, and international students.
Knowledgeable about all University College programs.
Student Advising and Retention Management
Provide student retention leadership in assigned programs by meeting or exceeding student persistence, retention, and enrollment benchmarks through implementing a student retention plan, closely monitoring plan performance, pro-actively implementing adjustments when necessary, and reporting outcomes.
Effectively utilize academic performance software to monitor student academic progress, identify those at risk of stopping or dropping out, and pro-actively provide them with resources to ensure persistence, retention, and academic success.
Serve as the primary point of contact throughout a students lifecycle (acceptance through credential completion).
Using both developmental and intrusive academic advising approaches, support student academic achievement and enrollment persistence and retention at all stages of the student life cycle.
Pro-actively build and maintain strong relationships with all active (current and stopped-out) students in assigned programs to ensure successful completion of their programs.
Effectively lead and manage routine, core functions of student retention, including assisting in the development (and subsequent approval of) degree plans and monitoring and managing of course enrollments.
Effectively and pro-actively use permissions with Banner (DUs Student Information System) to record student progress, provide feedback/updates regarding student outreach, indicate student issues, changes to degree plans, course of study, etc.

Must be enthusiastic about out-of-town travel, able to transport short distances up to 95 lbs., and set-up and dismantle large recruitment booths.
Must have access to a car and a clean driving record.
2 years of educational recruitment, student coaching, or applicable sales experience.
Experience recruiting and coaching graduate/adult students.
Work Schedule Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Travel and evenings as required.
