eporting to the Associate Vice President for Enrollment and Campus Visit Experience, the Admissions Counselor will be the main point of contact for all prospective families who contact our main admissions phone number. This position will provide guidance and exceptional customer service daily via telephone, email, and in person, arrange daily information sessions and campus tours, assist with application completion and review when needed, as well as follow up efforts. Lastly, work on-campus recruitment events, and cover local conflict travel when needed.
POSITION REPORTS TO: Associate Vice President for Enrollment and Campus Visit ExperienceCORE DUTIES:
Provide admission counseling to prospective families.
Responsible for day-to-day communications with prospective students, families, and school counselors via telephone, text, email, or in person. Provide exceptional customer service, address needs effectively, and follow-up in a timely fashion while answering the main admissions phone number.
Update the admissions Outlook calendar with daily visits – information sessions and campus tours.
Call prospective families to confirm daily campus visits.
Assist with application review when needed.
Assist with local conflict travel when needed.
Provide exceptional customer service during all on-campus events (such as Open House, Explore Day, Enhanced Visit, and Accepted Student Day.)
Input prospective student questionnaires and interview forms into CRM system.
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree required; and a minimum of 1 year of admission experience required
Ability to effectively interact with a diverse population of prospective students, faculty and staff.
Outstanding Customer Service skills.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products required; CRM system experience preferred.
Valid driver's license.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required for the travel component of the position.
Ability to work evening and weekends, as needed.
Ability and willingness to travel on occasion.
High level of technical skills and an equally high level of energy.
Must demonstrate a tireless commitment to enrolling and retaining a diverse student body.
