This position is responsible for contributing to the achievement of University enrollment goals by implementing strategic recruitment efforts to recruit transfer students. They will need to articulate admissions policies and procedures to students, parents and community college advisors. In addition, the position will participate in University undergraduate admission recruitment activities, including college day/night programs, individual visits to post-secondary institutions, alumni meetings, advisory board meetings, and campus tour visitations.
Primary Function of Organizational Unit:
The primary function of the Office of Undergraduate Admissions is to identify, attract, and enroll first year and transfer students with outstanding academic ability and potential.

Bachelor’s degree; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Experience in transfer recruitment and programming.
Understanding of transfer admissions guidelines as outlined by the University of North Carolina System.
Knowledge of Admission Pros recruitment software.
Excellent oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills are necessary.
Ability to work independently and to manage various projects on a daily basis with minimum supervision
