Recruit diverse undergraduate students to Kent State University. Plan and implement programs to increase the quantity and quality of new students. Disseminate information regarding the university. Reports to Assistant Director, Admissions.

Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:
Assist in developing and implementing strategic initiatives for territory management.
Plan and manage assigned recruitment event programs.
Perform work on various special projects and assignments, including, but not limited to, admission publications, customer relationship management (CRM) software, communications, reporting, functions of application processing, and admission file review.
Represent the university and disseminate information at high schools and college fairs within an assigned territory.
Counsel prospective students and families; assist students through the college selection process.
Answer telephone inquiries and send information to prospective students.
Plan and participate in special programs and events to increase new student enrollment.
Give presentations on the university to diverse audiences, including high school students, parents, alumni, guidance counselors, and colleagues.
Assist with the design and publication of Admissions Office recruitment and promotional materials.
May supervise students and provide functional guidance to Admissions Counselors, support staff, and other employees who work on a project or assignment on a temporary or intermittent basis.
Perform related duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree in counseling, marketing, communications, or a related field. Two to three years of relevant experience. Must be able to work nontraditional hours, including evenings and weekends.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:
Light work – Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently to move objects. Incumbent must be able to communicate with others. May require occasional travel on and off-campus.
