Ransom Everglades School, a private institution with a public purpose, located in Coconut Grove, Florida, seeks a Director of College Counseling to begin July of 2020.
Responsibilities include leading the college counseling team. Overseeing consultations on selective admissions and financial aid. Developing productive relationships with students and their families. Cultivating relationships with college offices and representatives. And collaborating with academic departments.
The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in counseling, planning, management, staff development, and data-based decision-making. Demonstrated ability in written and interpersonal communications is required, as is a high degree of empathy, insight, and a proactive approach to meeting challenges.
The Director of College Counseling is a member of the leadership team and reports to the Head of School.
