The Director of Enrollment Operations and Analytics is responsible for the daily administration of the Admissions CRM (Salesforce) and general reporting and analytics to support the Admissions Office new student recruitment efforts. The Director also utilizes predictive analytics tools and software to help inform strategic actions for campus. The Director is responsible for supervision of four full-time staff on the operations team. Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Enrollment, the incumbent serves a s a member of the admissions leadership team. Specific Duties and Responsibilities: A. Manage integrated processes and procedures: * Build work flow procedures and processes for CRM (Salesforce) implementation and student information systems (PeopleSoft) * Develop quality control systems for data integrity. * Create procedures for efficient implementation of new student application process. * Lead effort to develop and execute communication plan to prospective students at all stages of Admissions cycle, with specific emphasis on digital communication strategies. * Collaborate with Marketing on the execution of integrated marketing messages and delivery of targeted communications. B. Performance Management. * Responsible for hiring, training and development of a team of four full-time non-exempt staff members. * Develop clear direction for staff, and management employee workloads. * Maintain positive work environment and motivation among team member. * Manage on-going operations training for Admissions Counselors.\ C. General Administrative Duties * Oversee operations that are responsive to prospective students through each phase of the enrollment cycle. * Maintain a thorough knowledge of all admissions systems, and office policies and procedures. * Analyze both admissions and enrollment data to inform researched recruitment strategies and determine return on investment of outreach initiatives. * Compile data and prepare reports as needed.
Excellent verbal skills, as applied in both interpersonal and group settings, are essential. Outstanding writing skills are critical. Advanced computing skills should include proficient word-processing ability, a familiarity with web-based communications and an in depth understanding of database processes; must be willing to add web content management skills as needed. Must be energetic, and able and willing to travel. Must have a valid driver's license. The successful candidate must have a master's degree in a related field, to include business, and a five year record of successful undergraduate admissions, in positions of progressive responsibility. The candidate should possess exceptional personal skills, the ability to work effectively with others, a capacity to manage multiple projects, and a strong understanding of current theories and best practices in admissions recruiting.
