OSU-Cascades, located in Bend, Oregon, is seeking a CRM Coordinator for Admissions Marketing. This is a full-time 1.0 FTE, fixed term professional faculty position. Reporting to the Director of Admissions & Recruitment, the CRM Coordinator-Admissions Marketing is responsible for the implementation and management of the marketing and communication plans within the Office of Admissions’ Customer Relationship Management software (Technolutions Slate) and supports the recruitment, marketing and yielding efforts of the Office of Admissions at OSU-Cascades. This position serves as the lead for OSU-Cascades’ build-out and implementation of communication flows within the CRM software, as well as its ongoing development and maintenance of the CRM software and also works with the Director of Admissions on messaging and timing of campaigns and/or collateral.
The successful candidate profile for the OSU-Cascades CRM Coordinator-Admissions Marketing will be a detail oriented individual with strong time management skills and be flexible, having the ability to adapt to rapid change. The individual will be joining a fast-paced team committed to ensuring smooth transitions for prospective students, applicants, and incoming students. The ability to think creatively and work collaboratively with admissions and marketing to create powerful communication channels to both raise brand awareness and assist in overall communication will be a crucial marker of success for this position.
50%- Build & Maintain Communication Flows Coordinate with the OSU-Cascades undergraduate admission team to execute all recruitment and admission solutions through CRM software Slate, including but not limited to process, workflow, and communications designed to enroll talented and diverse undergraduate students. Create, launch and monitoring work-flows from the planning stage through campaign launch, targeting multiple prospective student and constituent audiences using multi-channel communication (digital, print, email, text, and phone), as well as tracking all interactions and audience behavior within CRM software. Collaborate with marketing and other campus partners on content, messaging, and marketing and communication best practices focused on recruitment and enhancing the customer (student) experience. Coordinate with recruitment and marketing colleagues in the Office of Admissions and Enrollment Management IT professionals at OSU in Corvallis on orchestrated communications strategies and effective use of the shared instance of Slate.
25%- Coordinate lead generation strategy Work with leadership to perform student search and coordinate lead generation strategy. Troubleshoot software functionality issues, and act as liaison with Enrollment Management IT staff in Corvallis and associated vendors.
15% Special Projects Carry out various administrative duties as required, including coordinating mailings, etc. tied to campaigns launched through Slate. Assist in admission media projects, such as video and photo shoots (when appropriate).
10% Market Research & Analysis Assist Director of Admission to utilize the data within Slate for effective analysis and market research.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, web technology, communications, marketing or related field
Ability to track multiple projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines under pressure and with frequently changing priorities.
Previous professional experience with common computer applications for relationship management
Strong attention to detail and organization, both written and verbally
Strong time management skills
Flexible and able to adapt to rapid change
Demonstrated experience managing communication flow with CRM software
Demonstrated competency and/or experience working with people from various backgrounds and cultures.

OSU-Cascades, located in Bend, Oregon, is a campus of Oregon State University. Established in 2001, the university currently enrolls more than 1,300 students in bachelor’s and master’s degree programs. The campus expanded to a four-year university in 2015, and opened its 10-acre campus in fall 2016. The Oregon legislature approved additional funding in 2017 and 2018 for continued campus expansion, which is currently in progress. The campus has ambitious enrollment goals to reach 3,000 students and is engaged in building a culturally diverse and community-centric educational environment.
