Be trained and mentored by Ethan personally in the CEG philosophy and approach
Meet with Ethan on a regular basis to discuss student progress and troubleshoot concerns
Meet with students virtually throughout the summer and early fall
Help keep students inspired, motivated, and on track to meet deadlines

An empathic soul and a great question-asker with a strong ability to help students feel comfortable sharing and engaged (or as reasonably engaged--we know it’s hard with some students) in the writing process
Experienced with the college essay-writing and application process and have the ability to adapt to different students’ needs and writing abilities
Flexible to meet with students virtually during the evenings and weekends (if needed)
Able to meet with Ethan regularly to review student progress
Bonus points if you’re familiar with College Essay Guy material and have used it with your own students (but not required--we can train you up).
