Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management CUNY State Central Office
The City University of New York invites applications and nominations for the position of Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs & Enrollment Management. The Vice Chancellor serves as a member of the Cabinet of the Office of Academic Affairs, and reports directly to the Executive Vice Chancellor and University Provost. The Vice Chancellor creates, drives, implements, and coordinates strategies, initiatives, and activities with a focus on student development and supports that enhance the ability of the University’s colleges and professional schools to foster student enrollment, retention, graduation, and post-graduation success. The Vice Chancellor will oversee Student Affairs and Enrollment Management, a unit that was recently created through the unification of two previously separate units that shared the same mission, values, and outcomes. Therefore, this merger will present a unique and exciting opportunity for the Vice Chancellor to activate the potential of a newly unified unit and explore and rethink methods to achieve success in enrollment management and student life. The Vice Chancellor, as a senior leader at the central office, will be positioned to pursue collaborations with other units within the Office of Academic Affairs (such as academic programs and policy, student success, career success, K-16 initiatives, research, faculty affairs, institutional policy and research) as well as units across the University’s central office (such as operations, institutional affairs, communications & marketing).
