OSU-Cascades is seeking an Associate Director of Admissions. This is a full-time (1.00 FTE), 12-month, fixed term professional faculty position. Reappointment is at the discretion of the Director of Admissions.
Reporting to the Director of Admissions & Recruitment, the Associate Director of Admissions implements OSU-Cascades recruitment activities and new student programs in support of the campus enrollment goals and strategic plan. The Associate Director plays a critical role in helping to lead and develop operations directly related to domestic undergraduate student recruitment. They must be able to work independently, make decisions, develop plans, supervise staff, execute and assess programs, plan recruitment travel and monitor a budget. The position will serve potential students, families, school and community organizations, generate tuition revenue and affect enrollment for OSU-Cascades by recruiting qualified students, facilitate and coordinate campus wide recruitment efforts and support OSU-Cascades goals and strategic plan.
The Associate Director of Admissions is part of the admissions and recruitment team whose primary goal is to build awareness about OSU-Cascades and assist students and family members with the admissions process. This position requires the ability to travel and work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, a minimum of seventeen weeks.

Bachelor's degree from a non-profit, regionally accredited institution in a relevant discipline.
1-2 years’ of experience in student services support such as: admissions, enrollment services, advising, or orientation
Prior supervisory experience, lead experience or the equivalent combination of training and education
Excellent verbal, oral and written communication skills
Demonstrated experience creating and conducting presentations
Demonstrated ability to work in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Ability to think clearly under pressure and to work with individuals from various cultures. Handle difficult inter-personal situations with tact and diplomacy
Experience interpreting, applying and explaining policy.
Proficiency in computer applications including MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and Publisher
Must be able to drive and travel in all weather conditions
Must be able to fly on a commercial aircraft
Must be able and willing to both travel for extended periods and work irregular hours extensively, including late nights, early mornings, evenings and weekends, for a minimum of seventeen weeks per year
Must pass a criminal history check and motor vehicle history check
Additional Salary Information: The anticipated starting salary will be $50,000 – $60,000
