Senior Graduate Admission Counselor

• Engage in outreach campaigns to potential students to help generate a flow of applicants.
• Work with the marketing team to contribute to marketing campaigns.
• Identify innovative and creative ways to effectively create awareness of our graduate programs, to generate leads to meet or exceed enrollment goals for both on campus and online programs.
• Work with prospective students and applicants via email, phone, and in person offering exceptional customer service by providing requested program information, obtaining support from other departments, and resolving any issues preventing the student from enrolling.
• Work closely with Program Managers in order to utilize faculty to positively impact the students during the application process to help meet or exceed program recruitment goals.
• Use available technology to automate an organized communication plan, track student progress through the application process, and report conversion rates and other metrics in order to manage the application process and document progress towards enrollment goals.
• Respond to leads and applicants in a timely manner as directed by department policy through our Salesforce CRM.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a geographically diverse online student body in order to provide accurate information about New England College’s many graduate degrees and online undergraduate degrees, admission policies and standards, and application processes.
• Review submitted application files to ensure they are complete to provide an admission decision within the 48 hour policy.
• Evaluate application files in order to make application decisions.
• Plan and participate in on- and off-campus programs hosted by the College to recruit students.
• Create written materials to develop a multi-step communication plan designed to provide information to prospective students and guide them through the application process.
