ADMISSIONS COUNSELOR FOR CAMPUS VISITS , Office of Admissions , to serve as an admissions officer with a primary focus supporting campus visits. Will manage and oversee--under the direction of an assistant director of admissions--on-campus recruitment programs and initiatives, and create a welcoming environment for visitors of all backgrounds; review and select undergraduate applicants with a partial admissions caseload and actively participate in the admissions selection committee; regularly serve as the primary representation of MIT to campus admissions visitors; engage in several weeks of national and local travel to recruit students and meet with alumni/ae; and assist with other recruitment and yield activities as needed.
Job Requirements REQUIRED : bachelor's degree, excellent organizational, customer service, interpersonal, public speaking, and communication skills; flexibility in adapting programming and protocols; technology and data analysis skills; experience or interest in working with diverse populations; good judgment and discretion; and a driver's license.
