The associate director of graduate admissions will manage the day to day operations of the Graduate Admissions department. The associate director of graduate admissions serves as an enrollment leader, supervises the admissions counselor(s), along with supporting assigned degree programs. Under the supervision of the director of admissions, the associate director manages the strategic planning, implementation, and management of graduate application processing operations, including process design and developing processing and counseling staff workflow. The incumbent is responsible for training staff on admissions systems, including the admissions CRM systems, as well as oversight of credential evaluation and processing for all graduate applications.

Three to five years of related experience in admissions or related field
Experience with graduate populations, recruitment, and territory management
Extensive experience managing and leading project-based work
Demonstrated success in prior roles in funnel management and student recruitment
Fluency of information technologies and ability to learn and incorporate new technologies
Experience in and ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Master's degree in higher education or education
Five to seven years of experience specific to graduate admissions
Experience supervising and motivating a team of professional staff is highly preferred
Experience and fluency with computers and automated database systems, TargetX/Salesforce, Peoplesoft and Hyland OnBase preferred
Event Planning experience
Fluency in a language other than English, Spanish preferred
Strong social, organizational and communication skills
Independent judgment and initiative in fulfilling responsibilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities and reprioritize as needed
Strong organizational and program development skills

Office activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding and interaction with computer equipment; Occasional bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 5 pounds.
Willingness and ability to work evenings and weekends; travel required (annual travel is estimated at approximately 8-10 weeks per year, locally, and nationally).
