The Regional Associate Director of Admission reports to the Director of Admission and is accountable for managing and leading the recruitment, evaluation, and enrollment of undergraduate students from their regional assignment. This position will operate in compliance with federal, state, and institutional guidelines and/or regulations.
The Regional Associate Director will be based in a specific geographical territory but will be required to travel to campus regularly for training, on campus programming, counselor events, and to meet with campus visitors. The Regional Associate Director of Admission – Middle Atlantic Region will be based in the Philadelphia/Maryland area.
This position has non-standard hours.
Lead and manage the recruitment efforts for qualified students from assigned territories. Project a professional image of the University and develop a thorough knowledge of the admission process.
Analyze current and historical admission results and trends within their geographical territory with the Vice President for Enrollment Management and develop strategies to surpass enrollment goals. The individual will submit a regional recruitment plan on a yearly basis.
Interview prospective students and meet with prospective families. Effectively conduct pre-admission counseling to ensure a thorough understanding and acceptance of Bryant University and its programs. Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and school counselors.
Represent Bryant University at high schools, college fairs, college nights, on- and off-campus events and through virtual programming. Participate in the formulation of events where appropriate. Coordinate and facilitate public presentations to promote the University.
Develop and maintain positive relationships within the regional community and with representatives at feeder institutions.
Review and evaluate application materials in a thorough and timely manner, recommending admission and eligibility for academic scholarship in keeping with established guidelines. This position will also be responsible for supporting the application reading of campus-based counselors.
Responsible for all follow up with prospective students and their families from the inquiry stage through the deposit stage of the admission process.
Support the implementation of the University’s overall recruitment/marketing strategies by participating in direct outreach including phone calls, email, direct mail and virtual programming.
When on campus, assist with office duties including group presentations and individual interviews.
Perform other duties as assigned.
This position is best served by an individual with:
A Bachelor’s Degree and 10 or more years of progressive experience that demonstrate professional growth and development in the admission field.
A valid driver’s license is required.
Established contacts and admission expertise in regional recruiting area.
Experience in applying federal guidelines governing admission practices.

Strong interpersonal skills to develop credibility and trust with a wide range of constituent groups and be a successful resource to the Bryant community.
