UCEazy is offering a part-time/work-from-home opportunity for college counselors. UCEazy is a Cupertino, CA-based company whose mission is to simplify college admissions for students whose parents were born outside the U.S. Because all meetings with students are through Zoom conferencing, counselors can be located anywhere in the U.S.
At this time, we are seeking applicants who are well-versed in assisting students and their families prepare for college. We prefer that our counselors have at least 10 years of experience and are able to guide students in 8th-12th grades. UCEazy programs begin in 8th grade to develop skills and interests that prepare them to apply to highly selective colleges.
Because our counselors work from home, being a UCEazy counselor could be a terrific opportunity to gain experience or earn an additional form of income. Also, since the client meetings are scheduled outside of school hours, this part-time job can easily co-exist with your current job. This is a great opportunity to make a real difference in the college/career journey of a student from a first-generation immigrant family.
At least 10 years of college counseling experience, preferably currently working in private schools and/or university settings. Experience in STEM related counseling a plus.
