Seton Hall University Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) invites applications for an EOP Admissions Adviser who will be responsible for obtaining necessary knowledge of all aspects of Seton Hall University and Seton Hall University EOF acting as a credible spokesperson for the University in a professional and friendly manner; counseling prospective EOF students; reviewing EOF applications; and managing a specific recruitment territory of EOF schools.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• The EOP Admissions Counselor will recruit prospective candidates from New Jersey school who may be eligible for the EOP at Seton Hall University.
• The EOP Admissions Counselor will develop an annual recruitment calendar and high school/community contact sheet consistent with EOP, state and institutional admissions criteria. The EOP Admissions Counselor will visit a minimum of 100 schools for Fall recruitment.
• The EOP Admissions Counselor will coordinate student recruitment activities on campus for prospective high school (entering freshmen) and transfer students.
• The EOP Admissions Counselor will provide in-service training for staff who supplement recruitment to target schools.
• The EOP Admissions Counselor will provide general information about Seton Hall University and EOP in general.
• The EOP Admissions Counselor will compile statistical and area report for the EOP Leadership Team as requested.
• The EOP Admissions Counselor will attend all trainings held by the Office for Admissions.
• Other duties as assigned by the Director.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• At least one year of professional experience in college recruiting.
• At least one year of professional experience in the EOF, HEOP, TRIO, Upward Bound, Student Support Services Field.

Salary Grade:

• AD150 - Administrative

• Exempt

Physical Demands:

• General office environment
• Successful Candidate will be travelling to multiple recruitment events with recruitment supplies.
