Senior Admissions Specialist (Student Services Associate 1 - MR03)

The Senior Admissions Specialist is the front line for the Undergraduate Admissions office. The position manages the flow of work to and from other positions in the office. The Senior Admissions Specialist interacts with the public at large through both phone and in person walk-ins.

Duties and Responsibilities

Answers questions from prospective students and their families, both over the phone and in-person; assists with referrals and/or handoffs to admissions counselors, evaluation counselors, or management staff of the office; opens postal mail and downloads electronic mail; scans each document to the document management system; works with the Tour Coordinator to ensure a smooth arrival process for incoming guests; processes and prepares arrival documents and contacts departments to arrange for meetings with prospective students; creates tickets for trouble cases in Team Dynamix ticketing system including the collection of information and routing to the responsible party; and processes incoming checks, money orders, and cash received for application payments.

Minimum Qualifications: Requires a high school diploma or GED and 1 year of customer service experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree; prior experience in higher education; and experience working with computer systems.
